cannot install monitor drivers

I'm trying to install my acer kg240's monitor driver, but I can't seem to install it. I'm getting something like, "IDF lacks digital signature". I tried going through the automatic windows way, but that didn't pick up on any drivers in the file. Any help?

Usually you don't need a driver for a monitor. I looked on the Acer and it doesn't explain what this driver is for either. If the monitor is working correctly, I wouldn't bother with this driver.

Yes, but when I try to select 120hz (The port I'm using supports 120hz) it says that the monitor is unable to set that refresh rate.

I'm still suspicious of Acer's monitor driver. What's the make/model of the graphics card you're using? Have you updated the driver for the graphics card? Also, which port are you using on the monitor? Also, check the monitor's menu. Any settings in there? If you're using the DVI ports on the graphics card and monitor, are you using a DVI "Dual Link" cable?
