I'm looking for a 1440p Monitor that:

- Is less than 500$ (Edit: 600$) after tax and shipping (No mail-in rebates).
- Is at least 100hz. (Edit: Can settle for 85hz)
- Has G-Sync. (Edit: A plus but not necessary)
- Is at least 27" but no larger than 32" (32" is fine though).
- IPS is a plus. (Edit: A plus but not necessary)
- Is NOT Curved.
- Is NOT Ultrawide.
- Is from a mainstream, reliable brand (Though, I do love Asus).
- Has at least a 2 year manufacturer limited warranty.
- Has a minimalistic appearance. (ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT)

My full computer build is in my signature. (The CPU is overclocked to 5.0GHZ).

I do realize that I won't be able to play all games on Ultra at 1040p at 100hz+, so no need to inform me =P.

Also, if you could list a few options it would be greatly appreciated; however, not necessary.

Okay, screw the IPS then lol. I don't need a "super godly monitor". Although I admit I did make it seem like I wanted something very high end and very specific.

And let's raise the budget to 600$ (Although the cheaper the better).

My must-haves are:

- 1440p
- ≥100hz (If this still isn't possible. I'll settle for at least 85hz (If I have to overclock it whatever) but no lower)
- 27" to 32"
- Reliable Brand
- 2+ Year Warranty
- Minimalistic Appearance (Seriously, I hate when gaming monitors look like they're built to impress an 8 year old boy).
- Not Curved or Ultrawide

So, scratch the IPS, raise the budget 100 bucks, don't need G-sync, lower the hz requirement.

See my answer above. You missed it. It has all that you asked for without IPS.

With $600:

You get those two, along with the ones I suggested above. These two monitors are also 165Hz, and G Sync. Below $600. 1440p of course.

I didn't miss it. I'm sincerely grateful for the contribution and one of those definitely caught my eye.

However, there are thousands of monitors out there. If anyone else wants to chime in so I could have a wide array of monitors to choose from, that would be wonderful. =)

Oh, quick question as well...

I've actually never seen an IPS monitor in person / side by side to a regular monitor.

In your (or whomever's) experience, how would you rate the difference in color quality?
