Hi ,and bad news...
My 5 years 128 gb Samsung ssd turned into 1gb after a shut down. The drive was in a dell laptop.the specs of the ssd are:
Samsung 2.5" 128 ssd (SATA6.0Gbps)
Model MZ-7PC1280/0L1
F/W CXM04L1Q

The bios see it now as :IDE0 SAMSUNG SATA SSD
IDE0 Serial NUmber :000000000000000
I plugged the drive into a usb 2.0 enclosure and win 10 saw it as a Unknown 1gb Not initialized !gb Unalocated drive....I tried to initialize but it gives me that error "Data error (cyclic redudancy check)"

What should i do ?
I own an identical ssd in another laptop. Many thanks

So , its a new situation on the planet?!?! no answers .
I tried the power cycle option for a few times but didnt changed anything .Samsung magician recognize it as SAMSUNG SATA SSD but all options are deactivated...Partedd magic gives me error when i try to secure erase ...errors reading partition table.neither format works

It has failed....

When they do fail, failure is usually a very HARD failure, making them worthless.....unrecoverable.

(SOme places do specializein data recovery even from SSDs, but, prepare to pay hundreds fro them to move individual IC's from one board to antoher in hopes of data recovery...; if that interests you, here is a link to one outfit specializing in such things... https://www.300dollardatarecovery.com/

Tks for reply,im not interested to recover any data, the irony is that i put this laptop on sell a day before that ssd failed ,, worked fine for 5 years.
