Hello, Tom's Hardware Community,

I have been getting BSODs recently so much and the error code is driver_irql_not_less_or_equal tcpip.sys

I have an Acer A515-51G Laptop with

i5-8250U

Nvidia GeForce MX150

6GB DDR4 Ram

1 TB HDD

The BSOD happens Randomly

And I have searched on Google and I found out its driver issue and I got other BSOD code and it's driver error too but I didn't do any driver changes recently

The other codes I got is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ntoskrnl.exe

Here is the Minidump for these 2 BSODs

Solution
something used a bogus memory address, you can try and uninstall or update suspect drivers.
you might run cmd.exe as an admin and run
verifier.exe /standard /all
then reboot and see if verifier can find any bad drivers. if it does it will call a bugcheck and name the driver in the memory dump file.

Note: be sure you know how to get into safe mode so you can turn off verifier if the system bugchecks during the boot process.
use this to turn off verifier
verifier.exe /reset

Note; you have to turn off verifier when you are done testing or your machine will run slowly until you do.

Here are the old drivers on your system

Acer Launch Manager Shim for HID-KMDF Interface layer

you have various old network drivers installed (from 2013)
Acer Launch Manager Wireless Driver

not sure if they caused the corruption in the real tek network driver so try the update below and see if it helps.

it is unclear why this machine would have such old drivers wireless drivers on it. You might want to go to the motherboard vendors website and update the Bluetooth and any other network drivers, check for all motherboard driver updates

---------
you have verifier running be sure to turn it off via
verifier.exe /reset
after you are done testing.

something corrupted the stack while making calls to network functions.
this is the driver that was corrupted:
Realtek NICDRV 8169 PCIe GBE Family Controller driver
\SystemRoot\System32\drivers\rt640x64.sys Thu Mar 23 03:53:30 2017

try the update from here:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

you have other issues with the memory dump also.
(overclocking driver:
C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\RTCore64.sys Fri Sep 30 05:03:17 2016

Scarlet.Crush Productions Scp Dual Shock 3 Virtual Bus Driver(causes memory corruption problems)

thanks for replaying johnbl
I did everything you said
but I couldn't find any drivers for "Acer Launch Manager Wireless Driver" can you give me program, file, driver etc... points to it?

thanks in advance

EDIT:
after googling for a time I've found LMDriver.sys is an Acer Bloatware Driver so I have Purged uninstall the bloatware and I will test everything i will report back

EDIT2:
it's still crashing but now there's new code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

@johnbl it's 100% a network thing driver
Cuz all BSODs I got reference to Network Driver
Got new BSOD with ndis.sys driver error

Update:
I got a new BSOD and it's pointing to my WiFi Adapter so I think it's the problem but when I uninstall the driver and do restart
The WiFi adapter still showing

But now I get BSODs about Memory Management even without having overclocked CPU nor GPU
Minidumps:
https://www.mediafire.com/download/t5bs9s2b127w8bm

one bit memory error showed up in one bugcheck, run memtest86 to check memory timings.

you have mis matched memory in your machine, I would suspect you have a bad bios memory timing setting. if your bios supports setting the secondary timings I would change the command rate to 2T or 2N on both memory modules just to slow down the timing.

memory bank 0 (4gb)
Speed 2400MHz
Manufacturer Micron
Part Number 4ATF51264HZ-2G3B1

memory bank 2 (2gb)
Speed 2400MHz
Manufacturer SK Hynix
Part Number HMA425S6AFR6N-UH

------------
first one looks like a memory access error coming out of foxitconnected pdf service
(something to do with a timer)

second bugcheck was due to a 1 bit memory corruption
system was running 17 minutes
bugcheck was in some virtual memory while running chrome.
(you might disable chrome extensions) but I would suggest you run hardware tests to see if you can isolate the problem.
IE memtest86 should pass with no errors.

note: you can also check your manual for your system and find the recommended slots to put your memory into.
for mis-matched memory it might recommend slots 0 and 1.
generally slots 0 and 2 are banked together and 1 and 3 are banked together (same timings required)
if you use 0 and 1 the bios should allow different timings for each slot.

So...
I did a memtest and no errors at all

one bit memory errors can also come from the RAM cache inside the CPU.
you should also down load intel CPU diagnostic program and run a cpu stress test something like prime95.
sometimes as the cpu heats up it can start to get cache errors.
even voltage fluctuations can cause cache errors.

Couldn't run prime95
Because Windows crash even before opening the program
Any Alternative that's is bootable?

you will have to check the hardware out. make sure the fans are working, check the power supply for proper voltages.
I would update or reset the bios to defaults.

Checked everything and no problems at all
So I guess it's the windows fault so maybe I will do a clean install but some people said they still get BSODs even after clean install

one bit memory errors are likely to be a hardware related issue. generally windows would be the victim of the problem rather than the cause. Ie files get corrupted by the hardware as they are being copied over during the install.
the cpu memory controller tends to catch CPU cache errors and a different bugcheck would be called. It still could be a problem with firmware, Sata drivers or USB controller (or drivers) if it is not the hardware.

Ok I will install Intel's Kaby Lake R Drivers cuz looks like Acer's one's are broken or dosen't work
