Hello.
I'm wondering what I should upgrade on my setup.

Current setup:

ASUS M5A97 R.20
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition
2 x HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 8GB
Sapphire Radeon R7 370 4GB GDDR5 NITRO
Cooler Master B700 VER.2, 700W PSU

----

Would I be better off upgrading to a GTX 1060 6GB, or should I upgrade Motherboard /CPU / RAM to z370 / i7-8700 / 16gb 2666MHz DDR4 instead?

I use it for CSGO, Overwatch and PUBG most of the time. But also some light video editing, programming etc.

What do you recommend?

After using a FX-8350 , do you really want to go the Intel way?
My two bits would say go for the Ryzen 1700/1700x , New Mobo from Asus and 16gigs of DDR4. A little later upgrade the GPU, since prices ain't that favorable yet.

I would upgrade up from that ancient cpu personally then worry about video card

suggestions on both side of the cpu realm

The reason I want to go for Intel is that I've read that because of Single Core Performance it's better for CSGO. Ryzen and AMD is better for video editing and stuff but I don't do that as often as I play. If that is correct or not I don't know but that is why I've been thinking of Intel now when I'm upgrading.

Thanks!
Not so different from this upgrade package I just looked up then??

Intel Core i7-8700K 6 Core 3,7/4,7 GHz OEM-version
MSI LGA1151 Z370-A PRO
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz 16GB
Corsair Hydro H60 High Performance CPU cooler

And stay on the R7 370 GPU a while longer?
