i7 8700 for server ?

Last few months I've been planning to build a server.
Server will be used for storing files, streaming media over network, Hyper-V lab, print server, teamspeak 3 server etc.
I've been looking at i7 8700 as good option for this kind of workload, can somebody tell me if the choice is good before I order it ? I have been also thinking about Ryzen 7 but idk how good it will + it will cost me additional $50 for GT 730 PCI 1x for video output while Intel has iGPU.

Should be more than sufficient for such purposes; toss in a GTX1060 later for a quite competent Battlefield 1 machine!

Nah I already have my i7 7700k with 980 Ti for that and I play only Rainbow Six Siege & PUBG

Looks fine, I'd probably suggest getting a decent aftermarket cooler though for that 8700 as it runs quite warm and the Intel stock cooler is pretty terrible.
