Current machine has H67 Intel HD2000 integrated graphics. Thinking about a graphics card update to speed up the machine. I don't game - just desktop/video/Photoshop work. Been looking at some lower power options as I don't want to bother with s PS upgrade. Thinking about..

1. GTX 750ti
2. Nvidia K2000/4000 workstation card

I don't want to spend a lot and was looking at about 2GB of video memory. Any thoughts on the above choices or another suggestion>

Go with a card that supports more video memory. Then, if you every want to run larger res monitors (4K or dual, for example), you'll have a video card that will work fine & maintain stability for your desktop apps (not necessarily gaming, though). The K4000 usually has 3GB, and the 750ti usually has 2GB. So the K4000 might be a better bet.

If you buy a more expensive GPU, then you could keep it during a future system upgrade. So something like the GTX 1050 might be a good long-term option, albeit with a higher initial purchase price. Even the RX 560 could be an option for not a lot more.
