I'll be buying a new monitor in a couple of weeks and I'm currently thinking of getting the LG 24MP59G but I'm also looking to see if there is anything out there that's equally decent.

I've read a lot about it and it seems like a good choice and I won't be using the 1ms blur reduction as everyone says it's not worth it and just makes the screen flicker a lot.
Are there any other recommendations for IPS gaming monitors at that price range? up to £200
I'm only interested in 24'' and 1080p but if there is a decent 1440p one of 75 or higher Hz monitor I'm all ears!
I play FPS, RTS, MOBA but I'm not a competitive online gamer. More like a casual one. I enjoy Metro 2033 and Doom equally to put it in perspective.
I also like to watch films and tv shows on my monitor occasionally.
ps. does a monitor's frequency affect ghosting? ie would an IPS 144hz monitor have zero ghosting aided by the frequency?
