Can I install 1x2GB and 1x4GB RAM together?

I wanted to add more RAM and I plan to buy this "Kingston HyperX FURY 4GB 1866MHz PC3-14900 DDR3". So can they be installed together? Will my PC be fine?

P.S. I'm sorry, I know there's a lot of threads already asked this question but I just want to be sure that my PC don't get damaged.

Recommend you to remove the existing 1333MHz memory if you want to add 1866MHz speed memory.

They can be installed together but both will operate at 1333MHz.

may i ask why would you recommend removing my current 1333mhz? will there be a problem?

There wont be a problem, but the whole memory speed will downclock to 1333MHz. You still can use it.

I would remove it only if I want to use the system at the faster speed as intended to purchase.

Hi thanks and sorry took me so long to reply but I have another question I just found a Kingston 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz and thinking of buying it rather than KingstonHyperXFury. So will it be just fine to install both my current CORSAIR 2GB DDR3 1333Mhz with Kingston 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz?

I'm just going to install another 2GB DDR3 1333Mhz of RAM because i searched a lot about 2GB+4GB wouldn't be a good idea and yeah it will just work fine just as you said but I'm going to do this the safe way.
