What monitor to buy?

I have decided to build my first pc this year.
Before that i'm going to buy a gaming monitor.
I'm gonna use it with my xbox one before i get enough money for the pc.
I have found two monitors in my price range but don't know which is better.

The first one is the Acer Predator XB271HAbmip which is a 1080p 144hz g-sync monitor. (For some reason i could only find reviews of the 1440p version)

The other one is the Acer KG271U 27"
which is a 1440p 75hz freesync monitor.

The acer predator is currently on sale and they both cost around 400€.

I have heard that nvidia and gsync is kind of a "premium" option but is gsync and 144hz worth sacrificing the 1440p resolution?

I would like to hear opinions on which is better, I intend to use the monitor mainly for gaming.

Solution
g sync monitor cost more because g-sync need some kind of chip inside the monitor meanwhile freesync doesnt. it depends what monitor you should buy just by knowing what graphics card brand will you use, for sure get g-sync monitor only if you buy nvidia gtx graphics card, unless it would be a money waste
