I'm completely at a loss here.
A couple months ago, I got a PC with a M4A88T-M mobo. Weird thing is, this mobo does have 2 USB 3.0 ports (blue, 9 pins) at the back, which would make it a USB3 version. However, the BIOS is that of a normal version (no USB 3.0 ports). Maybe as a result, the USB 3.0 ports are not recognized by the system, and are used as USB 2.0 ports.
I've tried to solve this several times, by downloading BIOS updates, chipset drivers, and standalone USB 3.0 drivers. Nothing worked. If I could get any kind of help with this, it would be great.
If you need any more information, please ask. I want to solve this ASAP, as I transfer many large video files using a 3.0 USB drive, and not getting that 3.0 speed is doubling transfer times.
Thank you very much to anyone who responds .
