Why when I force shutdown, it brings me to recovery mode when I turn it on?

Hello. I have been having speed issues. So I restored my computer. Now that I did that, when I shut it down, doesn't shutdown, only the OS. I have had this happen before. But now when I boot up again, it takes me to recovery mode, unable to boot. When I shutdown again, it starts to work. But doing this takes a long time and time I am wasting not doing something. Is there a fix-around for this?

Solution

Reinstall the os. Seems like it just broke.

PowerCo LTD. ATM-600FB

Yeah thats an issue right there. Bottom tier garbage psu. Wouldn't be suprised if that the one that is causing random crashes and whatnot due to failing to deliver the correct power. Get a new quality 500w or higher unit and you are good to go (reinstalling your os afterwards is advisable).

Thanks Jaslion. It really isn't the best. Whenever theres a power surge, it goes off and I have to reset the Cmos. Despite it being plugged into a surge protector.

Get that thing out of there asap. It could already have damaged components if it's that weak. Make another thread to get some psu recommendations as I haven't kept up with them in the past 6 months really.

I'll get right on that. Thanks for your help. If you'd like to provide a recommendation, here's the link. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3690631/give-psu-suggestions.html
