Windors 10 Error - Not Enough Space to copy Files to NAS Drive even though there is more than enough. All drives are NTFS.

I am Running windows 10 and have a Dlink 320L NAS Drive. All drives on my desktop and NAS drive are formatted as NTFS. I am receiving an error stating I do not have enough space when trying to copy a large volume of files (50+GB) to NAS drive enough though I have more than enough space. All drives are NTFS. Please help!

First try to copy smaller chunks of files for testing purposes.

NTFS still has limitations, so in (rare) cases the number of files is too big, or some files are too big.

Copying smaller number of files can indicate which is the problem.

I doubt your NAS is using NTFS as its native file system. SMB (File Sharing for Windows) does not have NTFS, FAT or whatever, it is a networked protocol.

Check with NAS what is the maximum single file size, Make sure you're using last firmware available.
