HDD filled up 370gb of disk space overnight

hi guys,

I turned my PC on today and noticed my disk was running at 100% non-stop. I checked my Local disk and it said it was full. 100% full. I removed my temporary files, and previous back up and it got rid of 371Gb of data, even though both were only showing to have around 4gb in them.

does anybody know why my PC did this? and how to prevent this in future?

Dude that is not enough. Hackers work around Defender big time. Download and install freeware versions of Avast and Malwarebytes and run them (independently).
