Mouse and Keyboard

I’m trying to hook up my keyboard and mouse to my PS4 and the traditional method involves switching the communication method from Bluetooth to USB. Navigate to settings, then go to devices, then to controllers and the option is supposed to be there. However this option does not appear for me. One of the guys I live with tried the same process and it was there on his but not mine. Any feed back would be great!

Try to identify any differences between the two PS4s'.

Will your keyboard and mouse work on his PS4?
