I was using a standard user password-protected account to edit photos in Paint. I saved the photos to the Public Pictures directory. Then I logged off and logged in to the Administrator password-protected account and moved the photos to within the administrator directory (cut & paste). However, upon logging back in to the standard account, I'm still able to view the photos that are now in the admin directory I shouldn't have access to. All I have to do is click on the windows icon and type 'paint'. The Paint app appears along with the photos that should no longer be accessible. I am able to view the photos that are now in a directory I don't have access to.

Is this a known bug? I couldn't find anything on Google or Microsoft.

Solution
A standard user account doesnt have permission to save the photos in the Public\Pictures directory. So you either changed NTFS permissions, changed the user account permissions, or are not actually saving it there.
