I'm getting exactly half the frames I set it to

If I set my Hz to 100 it works
If I set it to 144hz I get 72hz when I run a test
If I set Hz to 120 I get 60hz
Which is exactly half of whatever I set it to above 100.
I have a GTX 1060 and a 144hz Acer predator
