Monitor Questions and Suggestions

I have one 1440p 60 Hz monitor right now, and I was thinking about switching to two 1080p monitors. If I switch to two 1080p Monitors, one of them being 144 Hz for gaming and the other one being 60 Hz for multitasking, would I get better performance on games with the 1440p monitor, or worse?

MSI GTX 1080
Intel i7-8700k
16 GB RAM
2 TB HDD
500 GB SSD

Ok awesome, that helps with the decision and the performance hit of two monitors, but my question still stands of if anyone knows what the performance change will be from my current 1440p 60Hz monitor to two 1080p Monitors, 1 60Hz and one 144 Hz would be?
