I've recently gotten an hdmi to vga convertor with a micro USB input to play Playstation on my vga monitor, but every time I connect the ps4 to the monitor it tells me out of range(67.4 kHz /59hz).i even tried changing the quality on the ps4 to 480p but it still wouldn't work. Taking out the micro USB doesn't work either. I've already turned off hdmi out put and hdcp but still the same error pops up.. My monitor has a d-sub vga input at the back and that's it

Solution
You need to turn down the screen refresh-rate in the graphics properties in Windows to a value that's within the range indicated on screen - - - I recommend you try 60Hz.
