is gaming 1080p on 4k monitor will be good?

Hello all,

i bought PS4 Pro, and i have an old 1080p monitor. I usually play games at PC, and i want to buy a 4k monitor for both PS4 and PC gaming. Thing is, i have GTX 1060 6 GB, and i know it's not enough for 4k gaming. So, can i play games 1080p on 4k monitor? Will it look so bad or blurry (like 800x600 on 1080p)? or will 1440p on 4k look better? I can't find any decent comparision videos about it on Youtube :/

I had a 27inch 4K monitor. It looks pretty bad on 1080p. looks low res and blocky but 1440p is much better. so it should not be a problem and looks pretty good.

i would just upgrade the gpu since 1080p or even 1440p on a 4k monitor wouldnt look good at all. Also what cpu do you have? I dont want you buying a 1080 and have it bottleneck by the gpu.
