Can't Install Windows 10 onto 960evo 1tb m.2 nvme ssd

when ever i try to install it it comes up with 0xc000225 winload.eve error
im running a Rog Maximus x hero with a i7-8700k
32gb corsair vengeance ddr4 2666MHZ
Strix gtx 980
Im using a windows 10 usb with windows already installed

Where did your boot media come from? I'd probably start with re-creating the USB, to rule that in or out.

It's one of the windows pre done usb for windows 10 home bought it at pc world
can you recreate those or do i have to grab another usb

I;d definitely create a new one, regardless of whether it's the issue or not.

That's likely quite old at this point, so you'll have a ton of Windows updates to do once you do get it installed.
Creating your own, should have you on the latest patches etc, so should be a smoother process.

I believe you can reuse those USB drives..... nothing proprietary about them AFAIK.
