Transferring Win10 Home OEM digital license to another PC

Hello, I am planning to build a new desktop PC and I currently own an Asus laptop with Win10 Home pre-installed with an OEM key, and since I linked it to my MS account it became a digital license.

I plan to build a budget gaming PC and have read that since Anniversary Update the OEM license is no longer tied to the hardware and it is now tied to my MS account so I would like to know if the linked process is possible with the OEM license that became a digital license. https://www.groovypost.com/howto/transfer-windows-10-license-new-pc/

I've also read that if I do the Activation Troubleshooting I can activate the license on the new PC
Obviously the laptop would no longer be running Win10.

A laptop with preinstalled Win 10 might be the only circumstance whereby the license will not transfer.

All you can do is try it.
If it fails, time to buy a new license for your new desktop.
