Bizarre performance issue

So I've just today installed my new 8700K, Mobo, and RAM.
The computer is blazing fast in all other aspects.
Firefox opens instantly.
HOWEVER, clicking a link will take like 30 seconds to open a new tab.
Tested with Edge as default also, still slow.
Safemode same issue

Whats causing this?

What anti virus have you installed?

Run ZHPCleaner, make sure you haven't installed something weird hijacking thing.

I remember bitdefender ruining my LAN once, too ages to find it, even though I uninstalled it.
Didn't trust them after that
