wireless mouse wont work

I have two laptops and use A Logitech wireless mouse that use to work with both but since I did A reset with one it does not work, the one that does work says it has Hid-compliant mouse the one that does not work does not I am thinking that when I did A reset of windows 10 it took away the ability to use the wireless mouse

Did the mouse come with drivers? Is yes, after the reset did you reinstall the driver(s) for your wireless mouse?

No drivers I believe the problem is the PC does not detect the little receiver which comes with the wireless mouse when I plug in the other PC the mouse works when I opened device manager and scroll down to mouse it shows hid-compliant mouse detected on the other PC there is no hid-compliant detection added that's the problem I feel and don't know how to get it back

I take it the adapter connects via a USB port. Do other devices work with that port?
