Sound doesn't work after shut down

I just swapped out some components about a month ago, including a new motherboard (MSI B350).
For some reason, every time I shut down my audio doesn't work when I restart. The only way to get it working again is to uninstall and reinstall the driver. Why is it not finding the driver on startup, and how do I fix that?

Solution
did you do a fresh install? Its possible PC is trying to load drivers that were associated with old motherboard.

By restart, do you mean you choose restart in the power menu or you are just turning PC off/on? As win 10 doesn't actually turn off when you power it down, its only off during a restart or if you unplug PC. Rest of the time its sleeping using a hybrid hibernate

Try turning fast start up off and see if it still happens - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html
