last night i booted up my pc normally, no issues whatsoever. after logging in to my user and desktop had loaded, the monitor suddenly turned to sleep mode. i thought it was because of inactivity since i wasn't touching or moving anything for a couple of minutes
figured out nothing changed afterspamming my keyboard which usually turns the monitor back on. i had unplugged and plugged my monitor several times to the hdmi port,where it has a vga-hdmi adapter since my monitor is vga only.
is it a monitor / cable issue or internals related, since everything was perfectly fine before this occured.
some specs:
i5 6500 3.2ghz
igame gtx1060 6gb dual fan
gigabyte ga-h110m-ds2
asus vs228 vga only
a vga to hdmi adapter
