This is exactly what should happen. "Administrator" is a system generated account that is always present.

Present but not visible unless it's been invoked and I've never seen that happen in an update.

Is that name definitely spelt with a lower case a? If so, I would be very suspicious of malware

Go to c:\windows\system32 and right click on the file cmd.exe then choose RunAs Administrator.

In the black form that shows up, at the prompt type
net user Administrator /active:no
and hit the Enter key. Close that form and restart the machine then see if it still shows.

how did you invoke the rest of laptop ? through reboot F key or using usb drive ?
