NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
Asus P8Z77-V LX2
Cooler Master Rs-500-ACAB-L3 (500W)
SanDisk SDSSDP128G
SAMSUNG HD502HI

Notes:

My pc is 4 years old and 3 months, the freezes are very random (usually happens in more demanding games) , for example, I can play for a whole weekend (8 hours each day) and don't get a single problem and sometimes right as I boot my pc and enter a game (recently, The Forest) and play for a min or right on the main menu, it freezes.
I also have my pc connected to an UPS (if it matters for this).
I have two monitors HDMI (4 year old monitor) and VGA (old monitor more than 5 years).
This has been bothering me for quite a while, I have brought my pc to specialists that built my pc through parts and they weren't able to resolve this problem, hopefully you guys can help me.
I think it might be my graphics card or the motherboard.

Things i have tried:

-Tested my ram using memtest86.

-Bought a new PSU (Corsair 600 w) used it for a weekend and same problem occurred, returned it and reverted back to the old one.

-Used Ccleaner to fix whatever errors from windows I had.

-Switched between disconnecting the Hdd (read on a forum that a old hdd or bad hdd could cause this problems) and playing a game to see if the problem occurs, it did.

-Had problems recently from booting my pc, it started normally but didn't show anything on screen,if I left it for a while shut down it would boot normally, after shutting it down again it wouldn't boot, so I put my BIOS manually back to factory, seemed to work).

-Changed my ram to another slot (3rd slot of 4 at the moment(left to right)).

-I have ruled out Over Heating (temps don't reach higher than 75 while gaming).

-Used 3D Mark Demo completed 4 times with no problems.

-Replaced thermal paste for the CPU recently(3 months +-).

-Updated BIOS to recent version.

- I have also resorted to formatting my windows so I dont think its a software issue.

Solution

Well, your motherboard does, the question is if your PSU does too. At 500w, I wouldn't go for more than a gtx1060 6gb.
Also, your CPU could be a limitation, but I think it will be sufficient for the gtx1060.
Hope I helped!

Yes I do have that error, but its from me hard rebooting my pc, what do you want me to do in safe mode?
Yes i have switched houses even, tested in a LAN party with other pc's connected to it, same problem occurred there.

Safe mode will help determine if the PC is stable in general. Please follow the other steps in the guide.

I have run my setup in safe mode , it's stable.

If this is the case, it is most likely software. Check your drivers and the devices (internal or external) connected to the PC.

Yesterday i installed my gpu drivers from scratch using that option on Nvidia GeForce experience, can you tell me a good way to update the rest of my devices?

You can check device manager to see if any device has a problem, or needs to be updated. Please, do follow the guide.

I have noticed that when using Aida64 extreme my pc started to hiccup, it kinda froze for 3 to 4 seconds and then continued to run normally, repeating this every 30 s - 60 s until the program was stopped, any ideas?

I basically checked it all and let it run for 11 mins

Well, that is a VERY HARD stress test. You should run stress cpu and memory, no need to put more pressure on the system.

Also I have done pretty much all of the things in your guide, the only thing i need to do if needed is to take my GPU out and clean the dust, I usually just take a brush and clean the fans of dust not the whole card.

Should i do anything else after doing whats on your guide?
or should I test if it fixed anything?
Because the freezes are really random so its hard to replicate it
Update:
I was just listening to music and nothing else and my pc didn't exactly freeze once, rather it froze and then starting working for 3 secs and then froze, on and on, the sound was also breaking when it froze.
3 notifications also popped up while it was doing this, firefox, windows and Shellexperience notified me saying acess of the "Microsoft Operating System" to the graphics hardware was blocked.

I have opened my graphics card and noticed a bump on one of the circuits, something was burned and fell off , so guess that was the problem.
I am using that graphics card atm and will try to change to another to test if it really was this.

Ok, you found the culprit. Do you have warranty in order to RMA it?

I do not my warranty was for 2 years only , guess I will have to buy a new one, does my motherboard support a 1060 or a 1070?

Guess i will try with the current PSU if any problems arrise I will buy a 600 W one, thanks for the help.
When I buy a new graphics card and test it, I will make sure to post something here for future references.
