Need Good Monitor for clear text display

My needs are pretty simple; a ~32" 1080p display that produces clear crisp text. Not a gaming monitor, although it would probably see use as one at times. I mainly need crisp clear text. My confusion comes with the technologies: IPS, TFT, LED, TN... sheesh! Not sure what I should be looking for that produces the best text. My budget will limit me to ~$200. $250 tops.

I would also enable ClearType (Windows) and go through the setup picking the various examples that suit your needs the best. Once configured you should be all set.

Does that mean that IPS is best for clear text?

IPS is usually better for brighter more vibrant colors but works well for text, my previous monitor was IPS and I absolutely loved it. IPS also works well on my 4K HDTV for colors and such.

If you want clear text, then 32" 1080p is not the way to go. I could barely stand 1080p at 27" for reading.

The problem is, my eyesight can't make out the tiny text on anything that high resolution. And Windows 10 doesn't do well with increasing test size like Windows 7 did.
