Monitor White dots bottom side

Hello, I have a Samsung SyncMaster SA350 LED monitor and suddenly some white dots appeared on the bottom. The screen is darker than usual also.

The monitor is conected to PC via DVI cable, I tried with another DVI cable and still the same, also tried with a HDMI cable and it's the same. I tried to reinstall the graphics driver and still the same. My videocard is nvidia gtx

Can anyone help me, is there something that I can do, is it worth repairing ?

it looks like half/some the LED backlights have stopped.
is it under warranty?

No it's not.. it's kinda old, I own it since 2013 or 2014.

Can I do something to fix it or I should just buy a new one?

4-5 years old I'd say replace.
