I have a Windows 10 hard drive (upgraded from 7) in an old computer that I would like to transfer to my new computer (everything but the HDD is new). Would I be able to do that and still have Windows 10 activated?

Is it likely to just boot up? Maybe, but probably not.
Moving a drive like that has 3 outcomes:
1. It boots up just fine.
2. It fails completely.
3. It boots up, but you have lingering issues later.
Prepare for if it fails completely. Be thankful if it works.
