Some settings are managed by your organization. What on earth does that mean?

So, a few minutes ago, i was installing an update for windows 10, and after it had finished, it stated that "some settings are managed by your organization. My computer installed and restarted just fine, so what was the point of that message? I'm kind of confused. Thanks!

I had the same thing.
I believe that was simply a glitch error message in the 1803 update.
It goes away.

yea, that 's what i was trying to see. this usually only shows up on pro/corp editions where you have more control over pushing updates vs the home editions

.

I believe it was simply a case of a previous setting of "Active Hours".

Yeah, the active hours seemed to be the problem. Kinda weird because it never happened before.
