Windows not scaling properly

Windows 10 pop-up windows are not scaling properly and inn some applications the icons are incredibly small when I use 4K. I'm assuming this is because some programs don't take Windows scaling options, I was wondering if anyone knew of a better system-wide option that also effects pop-up windows. Thanks!

Thats just an issue with Windows display settings, they are terrible. You should be able to change the display scaling in Windows settings above 100%, but that is what you have to deal with when running 4K since those Icon's are designed to be a certain pixel length and width so when you cram more pixels in the same area the icon shrinks.

Yeah, I've set the windows scaling to 300%, and that fixes most icons, just not in certain apps. Also, in most apps windows open very small, and i'm not sure how ti fix it.

It's just bad Windows display handling, im surprised I haven't had issues with my dual monitor PC down stairs.

Yeah I figured. Oh well, I guess i'm in for a life of leaning over my desk 2cm from my display
