Double monitors L204WT blank screen

Hi, I have a double monitor setup. I have an ASUS gaming monitor and an LG Flatron L204WT monitor. The problem is the screen on the Flatron goes blank. It is not hooked up to HDMI (it has no HDMI) it is hooked up by VGA. The screen sometimes goes blank white for a long period of time. I'm not sure if this is a problem that I can fix or not.
