Is there any point in a sound card?

Hello, I am wondering if there is any point in having a sound card for my system since I casually game Ark Survival Evolved, Fortnite, Overwatch, Black Desert Online. Would my experience increase at all with a sound card?

It seems from what I understand that a soundcard wont increase my experience any further.
