Windows cant be installed on drive 0 partition 4. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style.

Games were not running fluently on my laptop so i decided to reinstall windows 10. I already had partition my disk into C D E and i have backed up everything into D and E and C drive was the drive where windows was originally installed and while reinstalling windows 10 i formatted the C drive which shows as 'Drive 0 partition 4' and now when i try to proceed onto next step it shows that selected disk is of gpt partition style. So how do i install windows on this drive without affecing the D and E drives?

Reboot your PC and boot the Windows DVD in legacy mode(the non-UEFI mode in the boot manager)

As he said, but when it gives you the option to select partition to install too, delete any that you don't want.

You can recreate the extra partitions once installed from disk manager.
