ASUS PG348Q ROG SWIFT 34 or Acer Predator X34 UWQHD

I am upgrading from an old Samsung Syncmaster 2494hs to one of the above monitors.
Currently running a Ryzen 1600 system with a GTX1080 but will be upgrading to the 1180/2080 when they arrive.
Can anyone give me advice as to which is the better monitor for my needs.
It is mostly for gaming and some browsing the web.
I generally play games like Wow, AOTS and some shooters like BF1 but mostly Wow.

Any advice is appreciated as I am picking one up tomorrow.

I'll leave this sentiment:

"Get whichever is cheaper, they're both garbage. Both will have IPS glow, that's just a thing. Both may have scanlines and backlight bleed.

Down to aesthetics, I think the Acer looks more subtle. Where as the Asus looks like an enemy from a MegaMan game.

As for support, Acer doesn't recognize dead pixels as a thing until there are twelve or more and Amazon will charge a restocking fee for a return on that. Asus, I'm not so sure about, personally I wouldn't deal with either of them as the panel lottery just isn't worth it to me."
