desktop icons doubled = 2 of each

I am not sure what I did, I was playing around with the display settings and some user rights.
Then I found that I have 2 of each desktop icon, on top of each other, any idea on what I might have changed ?

Then I found that I have 2 of each desktop icon, on top of each other, any idea on what I might have changed ?

You may have copy and pasted the icons on the Desktop by selecting them and dragging them while pressing the Ctrl key or using the Ctrl key and two fingers click on a laptop.
It could also happen if you have changed the Desktop directory location.
Right after it happened you could just right click the Desktop and select Undo.
If it keeps happening then is a bug.
