Gateway Monitor Problems

The menu buttons on my Gateway FPD1975W monitor have replaced the power button somehow. Every menu button now turns the monitor on and off, while the actual power button does not work anymore. Also, the theft disable menu has now popped up, but since the menu buttons don't actually do their job I can't get rid of it. If anyone could help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated.
