Media server problems.

Ok, i tried asking on the plex forums but nothing so trying here.

So ive had a media server set up via "Plex" for a couple of years now and watch it on my xbox one via its DLNA capabilities. But for the past like month one particular season of a show will just freeze indefinitely until it decides to play again. All the rest of my content plays fine. This content plays fine when played directly on my pc. Not sure whats going on :/

My guess is it's a codec problem

have you tried to use the actual plex app at all?

I use my xbox to connect to my plex server as well however I use the xbox plex app which works well I would suggest trying that.

^^ I second that. Use the app not connected as a DNLA connection.

Thank you, i kinda forgot there was a plex app. I been using this as DLNA for a while, before you had to be subscribed to plex to even use the app at all. I see thats not the case, that has fixed it

App only has to be paid for Mobile/Tablet devices. AKA anything Android or iOS. Consoles are free.
