Task manager startup tab only shows a few items

My task manager's startup tab is only showing a few enabled apps, as soon as i disable something it disappears from the list and i can not re enable those apps. Need some help here, i would like to enable some other apps that are not on the list such as plex and corsairs utility engine but i do not see them

odd that they disappear, they should change status to disabled

to add programs, right click start
choose run...
type shell:startup and press enter
right click any program/file or folder to window and release
A menu will appear, choose Create shortcuts here.
Repeat the previous steps for everything you want to launch at startup.
restart PC and they should all load at startup
to undo all this, just delete the shortcuts from the folder

I feel like i shouldn't have to do any of that but it works for now
