I have been banned too

Couple of days back, I tried to post something on tomshardware, but came up with the frustrating finding that I have been banned. I however don't know the reason behind my being banned. I even don't remember being rude or inappropriate in terms of manner or behaviour. Could I know the reason or could I get my account back?

This account is not banned, or else you wouldn't be able to post here. It is possible you were using a banned IP (shared by a VPN/proxy, for example).

Do you use more than one account? Perhaps you have another account which got banned? I agree with COLGeek, this account looks fine. IP ban makes sense. Unless you meant another account.

Using a VPN would do it. If a bad actor gets banned and all we have is the VPN address, that address is toast. Anyone else using that VPN address will have trouble posting here.
