Hey all,

I have started purchasing parts for my new build and I ordered the z370 Taichi along with the g.skill ripjaws v 32gb F4-3000C16D-32GVRB.

After some research last night it seems that the ram I purchased is not on the QVL list for the Taichiz 370, but is on the z270.

What are the issues I might face seeing that the memory is not on the QVL of the newer Taichi?

I can return the memory if I don't open the packaging, so I can't test. (Also, I don't have the CPU yet)

Thanks,

Update: I did some more digging and G.Skill has some other similar RAM sticks that have the z370 Taichi on the QVL list.
https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3000c16d-32gisb
https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3000c16d-32gsxfb

If we compare with my sticks https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3000c16d-32gvrb they have the same specifications except height and name:

Memory Type DDR4
Capacity 32GB (16GBx2)
Multi-Channel Kit Dual Channel Kit
Tested Speed 3000MHz
Tested Latency 16-18-18-38
Tested Voltage 1.35v

SPD Speed 2133MHz
SPD Voltage 1.20v
Fan lncluded No

Would I be correct in assuming that no one bothered to test the version I bought with the Z370 Taichi?
