buying new Monitor

Hello everybody!

I have a 60hz 1080p TN panel from 2011, and now iam feeling for an upgrade.

- My budget is $800.
- This monitor will only be used to gaming.
- I only play AAA games like The Witcher 3, Dragon Age Inquisition, Fallout 4 etc.
- Iam after a monitor that will give me the best possible image (IPS?)
- 60hz or 144hz is maybe not that important because i dont play competive games?

Any help would be good. Should i buy now or is it coming new monitors in 2018/2019?

Agreed as for your budget well want to know if your GPU is Gsync of Freesync which essentially is a $200 difference.

Since your not playing competitive games you'll want a higher res and you won't need a really high refresh rate. IPS will make the games look much better and the games you listed support 21:9 (well FO4 needs mod) so I would consider a 2560x1080P or 3440x1440P at around 100hz.
