I'm suffering input lag please help

So I recently bought a used gpu gtx 760.
It has only hdmi,dp and dvi ports.
But my monitor has only vga (I know its too old but right now I cant do anything.).
I'm using vga to dvi converter which I think is the cause for input lag.is there any way that I can reduce this lag.

im afraid you pretty much answered your own question.even using the adapter the connection is still analog.what are your other pc specs?

If your using a passive DVI to VGA adapter in the link below, it's not the source of your lag.

It's probably because of your game settings. Is this only happening within a specific game, or in Windows as well?

I haven't noticed that much but as far as I know Windows is quick to response
And about the games I play Fortnite all day

Set the game graphic complexity or settings to low. If you have less input lag, then most likely our video card can't keep up with the graphical demand when they're set higher.
