Looking to buy new monitor

I'm currently researching for a new build and want a good monitor to go with it. The Asus ROG PG348Q is currently on sell at Newegg for $999. Would it be worth getting this while sale lasts, wait till I actually start my build, or are there better ones for around same price. As for graphics card I am leaning towards a 1080ti
