I'm trying to run a game at 1080P resolution. It isn't even very demanding, my GTX970M doesn't heat up past 60C when running it at max settings. Basically, it won't go beyond 1366x768 resolution without telling me my video card cannot run it. A TON of online guides tell me to disable display DPI, but when going into the compatibility tab, it doesn't show up. Any idea why this is? I'll try attaching an image so you can see that option is missing. I'm wondering if I need to re-install windows because perhaps my OS is somehow corrupted (even though I literally reinstalled the entire OS less than a month ago).

All patches are installed, and it's really any game. Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth, Skyrim, Alan Wake's Nightmare...any .exe program I try does not have this option. I'll try reinstalling my GeForce drivers, but I doubt that has anything to do with it, as it still has this issue even when my games are run on the Intel HD 530 graphics.

It's the MSI GE72 6QF Apache Pro. I'll try installing the Nvidia diver from MSI if available.
