Upgrading my monitor from 60 hz to 75hz for GTX 1070

Recently I upgraded my old PC to my current specs :
CPU = Core i5 8600k
GPU = GTX 1070 ASUS 8GB DUAL
RAM = 16GB

I'm still using my old monitor LG 20M39H, and whenever I'm playing Battlefield 1, there looks to be screen tearing when I have V sync disabled. My friends told me that the GTX 1070 is an overkill for my current monitor, so I'm thinking of buying a new monitor, LG 24MP59G.

I'd like to know if there's anyone who has the same spec as I do who uses the same monitor or a different monitor with the same specs as the LG 24MP59G. Is it a good monitor especially for gaming ?

If you are considering to buy a new one, and you are going to replace it. You can try to overclock your display's frequency. try to overclock your monitor by steps of 5 or 10.

I did the same at my AOC G2770PQU 144Hz monitor. i can get a stable 175Hz.

On my 29 inch 60hz LG monitor I overclocked mine to 75hz. Not as good as 144hz model, but I saved a hell of a lot of money.
