quality doesnt look good

quality doesnt look good in desktop, like it looks like 480p on a yt video when its actually in 1080p.
but in game the graphics are good
its like my gpu doesnt get used untill im in game

try a new cord and update your drivers. ALSO, one thing to check is what kind of cable are you using. if an old VGA it could just be you need to use a HDMI or DVI or DP cable to get the better look.. OR maybe your on a laptop with a bad driver for the integrated card and when you play games it changes over to the dedicated card.

i tried a new cord but it was the same and im using an hdmi cable and my nvidia drivers are all up to date, its looked like this quality since i built the pc
