I have no sound in my PC and when I plug in the cable the RealTek software detects it and asks what kind of listening device am I plugin in.

Things I already tried (in order):

  • - Verified cable and speakers (they work with my phone)

    - Disabling sound effects in enhancements tab

    - Uninstalling and reinstalling specific drivers

    - Uninstalling and reinstalling generic Windows drivers
Thanks for any help you guys can bring.

[UPDATE]

Installed new sound card

On the volume mixer, have you tried right clicking and changing the sound output and turning the speakers up. On mine I have about 3 differ audio out puts and I thought the same, just had to turn it over.

That didn't work. I had previously checked nothing was muted or too low, but i still blasted all to max volume upon request and it didn't work.
